Today is a good day to focus on being connected (and I don’t mean to the internet or your TV ;). But to be connected to others, whether it’s your significant other, best friend or with yourself.

Connect to Thrive!

There are invisible patterns of connectivity all around us. To be connected is oneness and love. We can be present with someone whose language we don’t understand, who speaks about circumstances we have never experienced, or whose reactions are baffling to us. It’s an orientation and intention to simply be with another and is what connects us.

Therefore, it's only natural to want to connect with other human beings.

“We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men; and among those fibers, as sympathetic threads, our actions run as causes, and they come back to us as effects.” ~Herman Melville

Today's action item:

In the next 24 hours, adopt the orientation of oneness with your significant other. Hold hands and be present to the currents of connectivity between you. If you’re S.O. isn’t around share a conversation with a stranger that you meet in the grocery line, coffee shop, or look up from your phone and share a smile. Better yet, hold the door open for a stranger while entering a store.

Tune into the buzz of the natural world around you. Take 20 minutes to devote to soaking up the energy around you and only seek the positive.

You’ll soon find that in each of us, there is a little of all of us; each one affects the whole!

With Love & Kindness,
